Beta-glucanase
Enzyme of wide application
Beta-glucanase is an enzyme that catalyzes 1,3 and 1,4 glycosidic bonds from β-glucans, breaks down viscous polymer macromolecules into low-viscosity isomaltose and maltotriose. The enzyme has a significant level of side activities to break down hemicellulose, xylans and cellulose.
Beta-glucanase is a widely used enzyme and is effectively used in the technological processes of various industries: alcohol and beer production, pulp and paper, and textile industries.
